Real covers 7 main U.S. leagues and has over 400,000+ monthly active members. In the next 12 months, our goal is to reach millions of monthly active members.
As part of our team, you would work with co-founder, Louis Antonelli, who’s a seasoned full-stack engineer with 9+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
Own and ship product features from concept to deployment with a high degree of autonomy.
Rapidly design and deploy new features, ensuring top user experience.
Identify and act on opportunities for product and performance improvement.
Ensure application responsiveness, especially during live sports events.
Uphold high standards in code quality through reviews and shared knowledge.
Maintain code written by other developers, including bug fixes and improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Proficient understanding of React/React Native and JavaScript.
Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
Passionate about major U.S. sports including basketball, football, hockey, and baseball.
Excellent knowledge of one or more back-end programming languages.
A few years of experience in a similar role post graduation.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a hunger to prove oneself.
Availability during live sports events and big sports weekends.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
