# Full-Stack Engineer @ Real

Real makes sports data social and fun. Sports fans have been deprived of products that deliver accessible stats and rewarding engagement experiences, Real solves this.

Real covers 7 main U.S. leagues and has over 950,000+ monthly active members. In the next 12 months, our goal is to reach millions of monthly active members.

As part of our team, you would work with co-founder, [Louis Antonelli](https://www.linkedin.com/in/louis-antonelli), who’s a seasoned full-stack engineer with 9+ years of experience.

## Responsibilities

* Own and ship product features from concept to deployment with a high degree of autonomy.
* Rapidly design and deploy new features, ensuring top user experience.
* Identify and act on opportunities for product and performance improvement.
* Ensure application responsiveness, especially during live sports events.
* Uphold high standards in code quality through reviews and shared knowledge.
* Maintain code written by other developers, including bug fixes and improvements.

## Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
* Proficient understanding of React/React Native and JavaScript.
* Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
* Passionate about major U.S. sports including basketball, football, hockey, and baseball.
* Excellent knowledge of one or more back-end programming languages.
* A few years of experience in a similar role post graduation.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a hunger to prove oneself.
* Availability during live sports events and big sports weekends.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
